About Us

Dr. Patrick Heagney is the original founder of the dental practice. In late 2010, Dr. Heagney has sold his practice to Dr. Thanh Do & Dr. Luu Nguyen, who then re-branded the office as Kenwood Dental. Dr. Patrick Heagney continues to work at the practice on the part time basis while providing the quality dental care that his patients have come to expect.

Drs. Luu Nguyen and Thanh Do are a husband-wife dentist team. They graduated from the University of Toronto Dental School: Dr. Nguyen in 2001 and Dr. Do in 2002. After graduation from the dental school, Dr. Nguyen also completed one year hospital residency at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington Medical School in St. Louis, United States. Both dentists are active members of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, Ottawa Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. They always strive to keep up-to- date their skills and knowledges of modern dentistry by taking various continuing education courses and seminars.

Although they both enjoy all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Do especially enjoys performing cosmetic procedures, while Dr. Nguyen likes the surgical side of dentistry, including implants and wisdom teeth extractions.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Do and Dr. Nguyen love spending time with their two young sons and getting outside to enjoy their beautiful community.

Phyllis graduated from Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2003 and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 10 years.

Lisa

A dental assistant, she has been working at the practice for the past 25 years.

Lynn

A receptionist, she has been working for practice last 15 years.
